Dr.Lorenz

Dr. Robert Lorenz is the veterinarian and owner of Cooper Street Animal Clinic.  He is a 1986 graduate of Texas A&M University and did an internship at the University of Minnesota before coming to our clinic in 1987.  In 2001 Dr. Lorenz assumed ownership when Dr. James Lively retired.  Dr. Lorenz can treat almost any animal and has a great demeanor with not only the pets but their owners as well.  Dr. Lorenz and his wife, Madonna have 3 children, 2 grandchildren and one Jack Russell Terrier named Spanky.

  Dr. Raney

Dr.  Laura Raney has been at Cooper Street since 2003.  She is a veterinarian and the resident surgeon. She graduated from veterinarian school at Texas A&M in 1986 and has practiced in Houston, Lubbock, and Euless.  Dr. Raney is great with her patients, especially cats and will make sure your pet is receiving only the best of care.  Dr. Raney is married and has 2 children, 2 cats and a dog.

    Mary- Veterinarian Tech

Mary has worked at Cooper Street for 29 years and is the veterinarian technician.  Mary is a registered medical technician, but her love of animals brought her to the clinic in 1981.  She is the doctors right hand and her soothing voice and touch can calm any animal.  Mary and her husband James have one cat, Samuel.

Christine- Kennel Technician            

Christine is the kennel technician and has worked at our clinic for 22 years.  Christine not only oversees the everyday operations of running the kennel, but she also assists the doctors during surgeries, takes x-rays, and performs dentals.  Christine will make sure your pet has a great kennel visit.  Christine has a chihuahua named Precious.
